March 20 is undoubtedly one of the most important days for dentistry. World Oral Health Day (WOHD) is a special dental celebration aimed at promoting prevention and raising public awareness of the relationship between oral health and general health.
On this occasion, Ptak Warsaw Expo proposed a competition in which tickets for the Congress during the Warsaw Dental Medica Show are to be won! We encourage dentists to post in the commentary a photo of their teams that fight and care for our oral cavity on a daily basis under our post on Facebook.
Awareness of caring for one’s own health has increased recently, especially as a result of the pandemic, which has drawn greater public attention to, for example, maintaining proper hand hygiene. However, experts point out that the coronavirus pandemic, on the other hand, has caused catastrophic consequences of the virus on the health of the teeth and gums of people around the world. Today, dentists and patients are struggling with the consequences of canceled or postponed visits.
During the first wave of the epidemic, dental offices had to be closed or the scope of their activities was largely limited. During this period, many patients were unable to receive appropriate treatment, except for urgent emergency procedures. Oral health services were among those most affected by primary health services, according to the World Health Organization. The fear of coronavirus infection during a dental visit is also important. Despite the fact that dental offices are already open, while maintaining high standards of sanitary safety, people undergoing treatment or feeling the need to start treatment have waited or are still waiting for the pandemic situation to change. Experts point out that patients should put fear aside and not put off the necessary routine dental treatment.
Remember to prioritize your oral hygiene routines. Protecting oral health is of the utmost importance to overall health, well-being and a good quality of life.
We encourage you to participate in the action! #aaa #polskamowiaaa #SayAhh

Today is the World Dentist Day!
We wish all Dentists that their Patients’ faces always have a wide, sincere smile!
The dentist’s profession is a hard piece of bread. Nowadays, when dentists are significantly exposed to coronavirus infection, the dental industry has faced a big challenge. We are full of admiration and gratitude to dentists for taking care of our health, often putting their own at risk.
Many people avoid visiting a dentist’s office – unfortunately, very often out of fear, regardless of the fact that nowadays dentists anesthetize and treat almost painlessly and their offices are filled with the latest equipment. Stress resulting from the fear of dental treatment can be reduced by a fully trusted dentist. Finding a good, competent dentist with whom we will have no hesitation to make an appointment is an invaluable matter. Despite the high competition on the market and numerous dental offices and clinics, it is good to find your dentist with whom you will feel comfortable.
A visit to a good dentist is characterized by an individual approach to the patient and the possibility of free communication. A competent dentist will carefully listen to what the patient has to say and will provide a diagnosis and explain in an understandable way what the treatment will involve and what will be its course. Of course, it is not without significance that the surgery is properly equipped with modern equipment and knowledge of all dental novelties.
The Warsaw Dental Medica Show is a unique opportunity to get to know the latest industry trends. During the event, participants have the chance to learn about the latest technologies and techniques used in dentistry, as well as see the latest products and devices offered by hundreds of exhibitors.
