International Congress of the Dental Industry

We are pleased to invite dentists, researchers, and dental students to participate in the Digital Poster Session. This is an excellent opportunity to present your scientific achievements, clinical research, or interesting case reports to a wide audience of dental professionals.

Venue and presentation context: Accepted posters will be officially presented during the 9th Congress of the PTS, taking place on 17–19 September 2026 at the modern exhibition and congress facilities of Ptak Warsaw Expo (Hall F, Al. Katowicka 62, 05-830 Nadarzyn, Poland). This year's congress places a special emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, combining the latest advances in dentistry and medicine with the rapidly evolving legal and economic landscape affecting healthcare. 

Additional benefit: The abstracts of all accepted posters will be published in the first post-congress issue of the Journal of Stomatology, a journal indexed by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (20 MNiSW points).

Summary of Technical and Scientific Guidelines:

• Title: Concise, without abbreviations, and clearly indicating the type of work (e.g. clinical study, in vitro study, literature review, or case report).
• Authors and Affiliations: Full names of all authors and complete institutional affiliations (institution, city, country). The corresponding/presenting author should be clearly identified.
• Abstract: Maximum 250–300 words, including the objective, materials and methods, results, and conclusions, followed by 3–5 keywords.
• Poster Structure (PDF): Introduction, Objective, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions, and, where applicable, References. Posters should be designed with clarity in mind and include tables, diagrams, and high-quality figures whenever appropriate.

The organizers reserve the right to reject submissions that do not meet the required scientific or technical standards.

TECHNICAL AND SCIENTIFIC GUIDELINES

Title:

• The title should be concise, informative, and clearly reflect the content of the work.
• Please indicate the type of study (e.g. clinical study, in vitro study, literature review, case report, or other).
• Do not use abbreviations or acronyms in the title.
• The title should be clearly visible at the top of the poster.

Authors and Affiliations:

• Provide the full names of all authors.
• Affiliations should include the full institutional name, city, and country.
• One author should be designated as the corresponding/presenting author.
• The corresponding author's e-mail address should be included on the poster or in the submission form.

Abstract:

• Maximum length: 250–300 words.
• The abstract should include: Objective Materials and Methods Results Conclusions
• The abstract must accurately reflect the content of the poster.
• Do not include results that are not presented on the poster.
• Language: English.

Keywords:

• Include 3–5 keywords.
• Keywords should accurately reflect the subject matter of the work and facilitate indexing.

Poster Format:

• Posters will be presented exclusively in digital format.
• Posters must be submitted as a PDF file.
• The layout should be suitable for on-screen viewing, with large, legible fonts, a clear structure, and limited text.
• Authors are encouraged to use tables, diagrams, figures, and high-quality images where appropriate.
• All figures, tables, and photographs must be clearly labelled.
• Posters should include the following sections: Introduction, Objective, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions and, if applicable, References.
• Language: English.

Poster Presentation:

• Accepted posters will be displayed digitally throughout the congress.
• The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject posters that do not meet the scientific or technical requirements.

The aim of this presentation is to define the concept and scope of the professional liability of physicians and dentists, as well as to outline the authorities responsible for conducting disciplinary proceedings concerning members of these professions. The discussion will be based on the applicable legal framework, in particular the Act on Medical Chambers, and will also draw upon the jurisprudence of medical disciplinary courts. The presentation will examine selected judicial decisions issued in disciplinary proceedings before medical courts, providing practical insight into the nature and application of disciplinary liability. By combining legal analysis with case law, the presentation seeks to offer a comprehensive and reliable overview of professional disciplinary offences in medical practice.

Unfavourable positioning of teeth or their roots in adult patients with missing teeth presents a significant challenge to the optimal planning of implant-prosthetic treatment. Orthodontic tooth movement in such patients can reduce the extent of prosthetic rehabilitation, facilitate the fabrication of more durable prosthetic restorations, and preserve a greater number of natural teeth. Furthermore, orthodontic treatment may modify the anatomy of the alveolar ridge, thereby facilitating implant placement and improving the long-term prognosis of dental implants. Effective interdisciplinary collaboration during treatment planning, combined with advances in orthodontic materials and techniques, makes it possible to achieve optimal occlusion and excellent aesthetic outcomes in adult patients with missing teeth.

The lecture will cover the following topics in detail:

- optimal tooth alignment and root uprighting prior to implant placement,

- orthodontically assisted alveolar bone regeneration;the use of skeletal anchorage in the management of missing teeth,

- an interdisciplinary orthodontic–implantology treatment planning algorithm,

- orthodontic space closure as an alternative to implant replacement.

These topics will be illustrated with numerous clinical cases from the speaker's own practice and discussed in the context of current treatment standards and the latest scientific evidence. The lecture is intended for general dental practitioners, as well as residents and specialists interested in interdisciplinary treatment of adult patients.

Early orthodontic treatment has become one of the most widely discussed topics in contemporary orthodontics. On the one hand, it offers the opportunity to take advantage of a child's growth potential, eliminate factors that interfere with the normal development of the stomatognathic system, and reduce the severity of certain malocclusions. On the other hand, not every deviation from normal occlusal development in the primary or mixed dentition requires immediate intervention, and treatment initiated too early may unnecessarily prolong the overall duration of therapy and increase treatment costs.

The value of early orthodontic treatment lies in correctly identifying those clinical situations in which intervention during growth can limit the progression of a malocclusion, improve function, reduce the risk of dental trauma, enhance the patient's psychological well-being, and simplify subsequent treatment. It is therefore essential to recognise the signs that warrant an orthodontic consultation, followed by either careful observation or active treatment. The lecture will discuss, among other topics, crossbites, Class II and Class III malocclusions, eruption disturbances, space loss, oral habits, functional disorders, and problems related to breathing and tongue posture.

The aim of this lecture is to provide a clear overview of the indications for early orthodontic treatment from the perspective of the general dental practitioner, who is often the first clinician to monitor and assess the development of a child's occlusion.

Obesity is currently recognized as one of the most important modifiable risk factors for many chronic diseases. However, its role in the development of periodontitis and peri-implantitis is still often underestimated in everyday dental practice. Chronic low-grade inflammation, along with alterations in immune response and bone metabolism, can significantly affect treatment outcomes.

This lecture will present the latest scientific evidence on the impact of obesity, dietary patterns, and metabolic health on the course and management of periodontitis and peri-implantitis. Practical approaches to identifying patients at increased risk will be discussed, together with the role of nutritional interventions as an adjunct to periodontal and peri-implant therapy. Participants will also learn when collaboration with a clinical dietitian should be considered and how an interdisciplinary approach can help reduce inflammation, enhance wound healing, and support the long-term maintenance of periodontal and peri-implant tissue health.

Periimplantitis remains one of the greatest challenges in contemporary regenerative medicine and implant dentistry. During this interdisciplinary panel discussion, leading experts will examine the condition from both clinical and biomaterials perspectives, addressing the following topics:

• The latest strategies for the prevention and early diagnosis of peri-implant inflammatory diseases,
• The impact of implant surface modifications on the development and treatment of peri-implantitis,
• Effective contemporary treatment approaches, including laser therapy and surgical interventions,
• The analysis of challenging clinical cases encountered in everyday practice.

A discussion of clinical studies on reducing gum bleeding, periodontal health, and prevention. Tips: how to choose the right toothbrush type and brushing method for your patient's profile (sensitivity, implants, orthodontics, chronic conditions).

The role of the dental hygienist in working with patients with chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, osteoporosis, heart disease). The relationship between periodontal health and overall health, the impact of proper dental and gum hygiene on chronic disease control, and recommendations that the dental assistant can support in the office.

A practical guide on how hygienists can (and should) be visible on social media to support patient education. Topics covered:

During the lecture, you will learn how to select modern dental loupes tailored to your individual needs and how to use them in everyday practice to improve comfort, precision, and clinical safety.
