6th Dentistry Congress under the patronage of the PTS
The 5th Dentistry Congress during the Warsaw Dental Medica Show is three days full of knowledge at the highest substantive level, during which participants will acquire skills that will be used in their daily practice.
During the fair and the 5th Congress of Dentistry, participants will have the opportunity to learn about new trends and technologies that have revolutionized the world of dentistry and aesthetic medicine in recent years. During the next edition, the organizers want to pay special attention to topics such as bone regeneration, diagnostics using three-dimensional technologies, prophylaxis and orthodontics.

"Principles of proper opening of the tooth chamber and accessing root canals"
Opening the chamber and gaining access to the root canals is the first and probably the most important step in any nonsurgical endodontic treatment procedure. See more
Properly designed access will allow you to maintain healthy tooth tissue while providing a clear view of the root canal system at the bottom of the tooth chamber, and in some cases even deeper structures. The lack of unnecessary removal of healthy dentin will translate into an improvement in the strength of the tooth after endodontic treatment and correctly performed crown reconstruction, and proper access to the root canal system will enable proper instrumentation, disinfection and obturation for adequate microbiological control. The lecture will be a guide for the dentist on how to start non-surgical endodontic treatment in order to obtain a positive therapeutic effect with a favorable long-term prognosis. The presentation will combine evidence-based clinical guidance with an illustration of the concepts presented on clinical examples.

"Irrigation of the root canal system - how to do it effectively and without stress? Basic rules and some practical tips "
The lecture will familiarize the audience with the subject of irrigation of the root canal system along with the characteristics of the means and methods used to support effective rinsing. See more
Various activation methods will be presented and compared, as well as the most common doubts that arise during treatment, so that this most important stage of root canal treatment would no longer cause difficulties and cause stress. The subject of complications will also be discussed – how to prevent them and how to deal with them.

The possibilities of modern periodontics - an extensive hygienisation phase
Periodontology is an interdisciplinary field related to a holistic approach to the health problem and the search for cause and effect relationships. See more
The frequency of periodontal diseases at various levels of advancement indicates that periodontitis is currently one of the most common diseases of affluence, which affects not only the patient, but the entire population. Both in Poland and in other European and American countries, over 70% of the population suffers from one of the forms of periodontal disease.
The increasing number of cases of periodontitis indicates the need for effective treatment that will help shorten treatment time and reduce health care costs, which increase with the development of complications and general diseases associated with inflammation.
The lecture will present a detailed protocol of the treatment procedure, taking into account the stages of treatment, cooperation with the hygiene office, and cooperation with the dental team. The presented algorithms of treatment will take into account the stages of non-surgical treatment of the disease that can be used in any dental office.
The management of bacterial infections is a challenge in all areas of medicine, including periodontology, influencing the development of the search for new therapeutic methods that ensure effectiveness, safety and economic application.

"Treatment of gum and periodontal diseases in systemically burdened patients"
The course and treatment of periodontal diseases depends on many local and systemic factors, which either modify the body’s response to dysbiotic dental bacterial biofilm, or may be the cause of periodontal diseases not related to the bacterial factor. See more
The lecture will discuss the diagnostic and therapeutic criteria for periodontal diseases occurring in people with systemic burden and the necessary precautions in the light of the current division of periodontal diseases adopted by the European Federation of Periodontology and the American Academy of Periodontology

"Modern radiological diagnostics using Carestream devices"
During the lecture, the possibilities of appliances and dedicated software in dentistry will be discussed, as well as the analysis of the most important functions of appliances and software, which will make daily diagnostics in a dentist’s office faster, easier and even more accurate. The items that will be highlighted are: View more
- Import and read photos.
- Database management. CS Imaging 8 software – as the central database of all clinical databases.
- Use of diagnostic tools.
- Unique resolutions and Auto Smart technology, i.e. automatic patient dose selection.

"Minimally invasive prosthetic treatment using the Invisalign Go solution."
In prosthetic and conservative treatment, we try to be less invasive and save tooth tissue. When planning such procedures, we often face the dilemma of refusal or inability to provide orthodontic treatment and the invasiveness of aesthetic procedures due to, for example, the relationship of the front teeth. See more
New technologies offer us interesting solutions. Slight adjustments to the position of the front teeth may allow the use of additive techniques instead of reduction ones. Changing the angle or setting will protect the patient in the future against abrasion or constant crumbling of the fillings. The lecture will be devoted to the possibilities offered by Invisalign Go, planning, protocols and patient qualification for this type of treatment.

“Hybrid orthodontic - clear aligners & fixed appliances, a promising alliance”
The aim of this combination is to improve the orthodontic biomechanics, speed and efficiency in managing complex malocclusions. See more
Compared with conventional fixed braces, clear aligner’s provides improved esthetics, comfort and oral hygiene. On the other hand, clear aligners had some shortages in controlling tooth movement. Extrusion, intrusion and root torque were the most difficult movement, furthermore the range of correction regarding occlusal relationships in particularly overjet, overbite, and bilateral cross bite were lower in clear aligners than with fixed appliances.
A combination between the clear aligners and the fixed Appliances – including Tad´s, RME, and SARA®- can overcome limitations, enlarge the treatment indications as well as reducing the treatment time and relapse.
The characteristics of these two orthodontic appliances as well as the necessity and variations of their combination in managing challenging cases, will be discussed in practical steps supported by treated cases and scientific evidence.

"Problems in planning and treating orthodontic patients - how bone reconstruction can help"
Orthodontics as a specialist field of dentistry deals primarily with the diagnosis and treatment of dental and bone malocclusion. Technological development has made it possible to plan treatment in three dimensions. Due to the dynamic development of new treatment methods, more precise diagnostics is required. See more
Using computed tomography, we can more accurately assess and classify orthodontic defects, including disorders of the maxilla and mandible relationship. Often, however, they are not suitable for purely orthodontic treatment, especially when they occur with crowding. Such defects should be treated by an interdisciplinary orthodontic and surgical team.
In most cases, the correction of the position of the jaw leads to a functional and aesthetic improvement. Regenerative medicine, which is already known in reconstructive surgery, is increasingly used in the treatment of orthognathic defects. It is a mistake to ignore skeletal disorders in adult patients in the hope that bone formation can be influenced by orthodontic tooth movement.
