The possibilities of modern endodontics. A meeting of knowledge, practice and technology.
Endodontics is the most precise discipline of dentistry. Nowadays, it makes it possible to preserve very many teeth and postpone the moment of extraction for many years. Its capabilities today make it possible to save teeth that only two decades ago were regularly extracted. The lecture will discuss the use of advanced technologies that are slowly becoming world standards, and those that are currently new, but are undoubtedly the future of endodontics. They are making our endodontic procedures ever more precise and predictable, and pushing the boundaries of salvaging ever more challenging cases.

The substance of knowledge about adhesive materials - pragmatic and clinical remarks
Working with dental materials requires constant updating of knowledge and improvement of working techniques. The lecture deals with modern knowledge of algorithms for daily work with adhesive materials. It will discuss the principles of selecting a bonding system and a composite or composite cement. During the lecture, participants will learn about the factors that fundamentally affect the quality of direct restorations (contamination of the circulation field, adhesion techniques, application techniques and principles of polymerization).

Topography of mandibular condylar process heads in diagnostic volumetric tomography in patients with temporomandibular joint dysfunctions
Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD) - a syndrome of temporomandibular disorders - has a wide range of prevalence. According to recent epidemiological data, they can affect between 10 and 90% of the population. Characteristic symptoms include pain in the muscles of the masticatory organ and/or temporomandibular joints, sound symptoms in the temporomandibular joints (crackling, popping) and disruption of the mandibular mobility pattern. Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disc displacement is a clinically significant condition, showing a high prevalence in both patient and non-patient populations, which has been recognized as a clinically significant problem . Thus, the basis of the diagnostic process is the clinical analysis of the mandibular mobility model and the function of the condyle-disc complex of the temporomandibular joint.
Modern volumetric, very high-resolution tomography, also known as cone beam computed tomography - CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography), provides insight into structures previously inaccessible to conventional techniques. The accuracy of CBCT examinations is so significant that it is impossible to compare this type of examination with “traditional” X-ray methods and routinely used in dentistry. On the basis of CBCT images, we are able to evaluate bone structures, confirm their mutual integrity and assess the severity and/or progression of lesions, which plays an important role in planning clinical management. However, the evaluation of the interrelationships is in close correlation with the knowledge of the anatomical details of these areas, which, as many years of experience have shown, are closely related in morphological as well as functional aspects to the other elements of the stomatognathic system, not excluding occlusion.

Reconstructive surgery of periodontal tissues
Periodontal surgery is aimed at limiting the scope of intervention and exploiting the innate healing potential of the tissues. Such management creates conditions that facilitate periodontal tissue reconstruction while limiting negative soft tissue contour changes.
The lecture will aim to present the current state of knowledge on periodontal tissue reconstruction/regeneration. The possibilities and limitations of treatment techniques and their predictability over time will be presented.

Digitization and orthopedic stability of the masticatory organ.
A prerequisite for long-term success in comprehensive dental treatment is to ensure the orthopedic stability of the masticatory organ. Regardless of the controversies on this subject available in the literature, clinical experience unquestionably shows better treatment results if the parameters of mandibular mobility taking into account the physiology of the temporomandibular joints and correct intermaxillary relations are taken into account already from the diagnostic stage. However, the analog instruments available since the mid-20th century that allowed fairly accurate recording and reproduction of dynamic occlusal parameters under laboratory conditions were fraught with limitations due to the sheer inadequacy of the mechanical devices, and were associated with tedious and time-consuming clinical and laboratory procedures.
Nowadays, we commonly use digital techniques in dentistry. The question arises - what advantages do the new digital instruments available give us in terms of the functional analysis of the masticatory organ and the design of reconstructions that restore the lost function of the masticatory organ.
The purpose of the lecture is to try to answer the above questions.
