"Microsurgical endodontics - practical indications"
Endodontic microsurgery is an integral part of modern endodontics. It is a whole branch of procedures that allow for the long-term preservation of a tooth in the mouth when endodontic treatment from the crown of the tooth cannot be predictably performed.
These include not only microsurgical procedures of root apex resection, but also those related to the provision of external resorption or root perforation, among others. The lecture will present the clinical indications and eligibility criteria for microsurgical endodontic procedures, so that the audience will have the opportunity to enter the world of endodontics from the root side by gaining key evidence-based knowledge in this field.

"Bioceramics in endodontics - not only in so-called difficult cases, but also on a daily basis"
Participants in the lecture will be introduced to the bioceramic materials currently available on the market for use in the endodontic treatment of teeth.
The use of the bioceramic materials in so-called difficult cases as well as during standard root canal treatment will be discussed on the basis of selected cases. New methods that have been introduced into endodontics due to the availability of hydraulic silicon-calcium cements will be presented.

„Current adhesive cementation protocols - an update on the materials”
Adhesive cementation is a complex procedure that requires knowledge of adhesive principles and adherence to the clinical protocol in order to obtain durable bonding between tooth structure and restorative material.
Contemporary adhesive materials enable the use of all[1]ceramic indirect restorations for all situations where maximum aesthetics and biocompatibility are essentially primary. However, failure rates of certain materials have given rise to a quest for the best possible cementation method. The adhesive cementation of all-ceramic crowns places high requirements on both the dental practitioner and the adhesive system due to the special preparation design required for adhesive cementation. Lecture will include the evidence-based review of the new adhesive materials and protocols to streamline the clinical procedures and to ensure predictable, reproducible results in everyday clinical practice

„Successful non-surgical periodontal therapy in daily dental practice”
Non-surgical periodontal treatment, also known as Phase I therapy or Initial periodontal therapy is one of the most important steps in the systemic structure of the periodontal treatment approach.
The philosophy behind this approach gives its potential for success in terms of resolution of periodontal inflammation and healthy periodontal tissues for longer periods. With our increased knowledge in periodontal disease pathogenesis and technological advances in our tools and devices, we have better and predictable treatment outcomes with non-surgical treatment alone.
When there’s inflammatory disease symptoms around dental implants, the treatments strategies are also based on our knowledge from periodontal disease. Although it is more challenging.
In this lecture, how to apply non-surgical periodontal treatment in clinical practice and the key to success will be discussed with clinical cases. The advances in our tools and devices that are used during the treatment will be overviewed.

"Turn a Challenge into an Opportunity - Biological Regeneration of Periodontal Tissues."
Defects in the hard and soft tissues of the periodontium worsen the prognosis for tooth preservation and often make it difficult to implement comprehensive treatment plans. Tissue regeneration surgical procedures allow us to preserve function and aesthetics, but require both knowledge, imagination and specific manual skills. See more
Before our meeting, I would like to ask you to think about the following questions:
– What are the indications and contraindications for you to extract a tooth, especially in the aesthetic section?
– When do you choose to restore a lost tooth with a dental implant, and in what cases do you opt for a prosthetic bridge?
– In what clinical situations is immediate implantation possible, and when should it not be performed?
– What biomaterials have the greatest potential for periodontal tissue regeneration?
– What is the prognosis for preserving a tooth with reduced periodontium?
The presence of gingival recession or loss of buccal bone lamina, especially with regard to the aesthetic section, obviously complicates the surgical procedure, but is it a contraindication to the regenerative procedure? During our meeting, I would like to introduce you to the modern surgical approach to periodontal tissue regeneration procedures not only in the case of favorable initial conditions, but especially when both hard and soft tissues need to be oduced. We will talk about how to improve the prognosis for preserving teeth with reduced periodontium and how to treat such teeth in the context of interdisciplinary treatment plans.
You are cordially invited to this meeting.

"Implantology is not difficult. From Simple Implants to Navigated Implant Prosthetic Procedures - or How to Bite It?"
Implantology is not difficult. From simple implants to navigated implantoprosthetic procedures – or how to bite it ? See more
On the one hand, an implant is just a piece of titanium inserted into the bone, on the other hand, the vast amount of knowledge is needed to make the effect of this implantation predictable and long-term. How to plan implant treatment? How to implement implant treatment into complex treatment plans that require the cooperation of several specialists? How to move from simple implant treatments to digitally assisted treatments? Planning, scheduling, treatment process and outcomes based on own cases.

prof. dr hab. n. med. Marzena Dominiak
"Tooth extraction and what next?"
The extraction of a tooth has the consequence of atrophying the alveolar bone and the architecture of the soft tissues surrounding the tooth crown. See more
Prosthetic restoration with prosthetic bridges resting on neighbouring teeth or crowns supported on implants raises functional and aesthetic issues.
Can bone resorption be prevented after tooth extraction? How to influence the preservation of soft tissue structures in the vicinity of future prosthetic restorations? Is every post-extraction alveolus the same? Can an intraosseous implant be placed into the alveolus immediately after extraction and why? When to carry out restorative procedures and with which biomaterials? Is autogenous bone always the “gold standard”? What is the difference between an ‘aesthetic’ and ‘non-aesthetic’ zone. What are the parameters for evaluating the end result of restorative procedures? Do we always regenerate bone to insert an implant?
These and other issues will be presented during the lecture, which will be based entirely on our own clinical material.

Minimally invasive dentistry in a biomimetic and interdisciplinary approach, using ICONE and Ecosite Element by DMG
Are we able to achieve a satisfactory aesthetic effect through interdisciplinary cooperation between dentists and hygienists?
Our lecture is a small case study of techniques combining: whitening, ICON infiltration and composite restoration. Wise planning, taking into account the least interference with the natural tooth tissues, allows you to create extremely aesthetic effects by integrating teeth whitening treatments, infiltration of white spots with ICON and complementing the obtained effects with a subtle reconstruction with the Ecosite Elements composite. The knowledge of many reconstruction techniques, my experience and the material capabilities of DMG preparations allow for the implementation of housings in both the anterior and lateral sections. When can we perform a subtle, minimally invasive composite work? And when does a patient require a full veneer? Let us remember that in each of these cases, the aesthetics must be combined with the functionality of the created filling. This only happens when…….see you at the lecture.

How can ICON bleaching and resin infiltration change a patient's life?
Until recently, the treatment of white spots was possible only by invasive preparation of enamel and dentin with a drill and aesthetic filling of the cavity with a composite material.
Usually it was associated with the destruction of the tooth structure and at the same time with the need to replace the fillings from time to time. Increasingly, however, in dental offices, you can meet the method of enamel infiltration, thanks to which it is possible to painlessly level or completely eliminate white spots on the teeth during one patient visit to the office.
Scientific studies show that a person with beautiful, bright teeth is not only considered more attractive, but they are actually more socialized, more likely to make a career, etc. In other words, there is a huge psychological aspect, and teeth whitening is not only trend in cosmetic fashion, but also a strong intrinsic motivation.
During the lecture you will learn how to combine these two treatment methods to achieve maximum aesthetic effects and your patients’ smiles to be flawless.
