A modern compendium of the hygienization phase

Treatment of periodontal patients is an extremely problematic issue that practitioners and dental hygienists face in their daily activities. Periodontitis develops as a result of an interaction between pathogens affecting periodontal tissues and the host’s defense mechanisms. The immune response is modified by risk factors, including insufficient oral hygiene. Most patients with gingivitis and chronic periodontitis respond properly to the classic mechanical therapy in the form of supra- and subgingival calculus removal along with scaling and root planning (SRT). In the era of the development of modern technologies, the gold standard of SRT has been enriched with additional forms of therapy allowing for even more satisfactory therapeutic effects.

· The essence of a hygienization visit in the treatment of periodontal diseases.
Modern methods of managing the bacterial plaque and more, i.e. an extensive hygienization phase.
Supportive effect of laser therapy in everyday periodontal practice.

We will answer these questions and many others during the meeting, but we will also take a closer look at the Directive of the Council of the European Union in the context of restrictions on teeth whitening.
We will focus on managing your whitening systems with positive discipline.
We will revise the whitening systems and light activators.
