Two methods of treating immature teeth with dead pulp and their modifications will be discussed during the lecture. Participants will receive answers to the following questions:

1. When to apply revitalization and when to apexify?
2. What is apexification and what is revitalization and how to perform both procedures technically?
3. What materials and drugs to use?
4. What is the modified apexification method (a combination of apexification and revitalization easier for a practicing physician)?
The presentation will be enriched by clinical photos and videos.

Modern technologies are entering dental practice. One of them is lasers, which is accompanied by a lot of controversy caused by the not very successful entry of these devices on the market in the 1990s.
However, modern lasers are completely different devices that are widely used in everyday dental practice. Today, no one can imagine a professional dental office without such a solution.
Dental lasers open up new treatment options. Thanks to their use, most hard tissue procedures can be performed with minimal invasiveness and completely painlessly. The advantage of lasers is also the ability to perform bloodless treatments on soft tissues. The procedures become more comfortable for the patient, and swelling and pain are minimized.
The lecture will present clinical cases showing the possibilities of using Er: YAG and Nd: YAG lasers during standard procedures.

In the first part of the lecture, air abrasion as a therapeutic procedure will be discussed; the possibilities of its use in a dentist’s office will be discussed in detail; We will present clinical cases from our own practice, including “difficult” clinical situations that can only be solved with the use of a clinical sandblaster or a micro sandblaster.
In the second part of the presentation, participants will be introduced to the scientific evidence supporting the use of sandblasters, including micro-sandblasters, in the prevention and treatment of mineralized tooth tissue diseases.
